As written before Harakka moved to Leslie and John Elliot's Tsankawi Kennels and lives with her father Nicc. Leslie tells that they are relatively new to the world of the Finnish Spitz but are excited about the start they have had in the breed. Nicc came as a 12 week old pup from Pikkinokka Kennels in British Columbia. As Leslie is interested in training dogs for Agility work the purpose for aquiring Nicc came to maily do Agility, but soon he started to shine in the breed ring and has done very well ever since.
Nicc won the Finnish Spitz Club of America National Specialty in 2002, took and Award of Merit at the 2001, and 2003 National Specialty, won the 2003 Canadian National Specialty under Finnish judge Paula Heikkinen-Lehkonen, and went on to win Best of Breed at the 2003 AKC Invitational Championship.
Nicc has also been working hard to earn titles in Agility and is currenly working on his Excellent (the highest level in AKC) Titles.
